Morland Parish Council has a website where you can see the minutes of meetings and other matters of village concern. It also includes maps of walks arouund the parish.
Follow this link http://www.morlandparishcouncil.org/ (opens in new window).
The Mill Yard Café in the village is close to the Church.
Morland Choristers’ Camp is a residential course for choristers taking place each summer in the village of Morland in Cumbria.
Morland Guest House is right next to the Church.
Newby End Farm is run by our Lay Reader, David Jones, and his wife, Jenny, and has accommodation (a campsite for both tents and caravans, and a self-catering cottage) to offer as well as running the Taste of Morland course for those choristers who are too young for the Morland Choristers’ Camp (see above). They also run various other activity holidays at the farm..
Various forms of accommodation:- self-catering cottages, a bunk barn and a campsite, all in the village, are offered by Greengill Holidays.
There is just one pub in Morland, the Crown Inn, which is situated right in the middle of the village, right by Morland Beck. It has a good range of beers, including some on hand-pumps and has a darts board and a pool table. They do supply food on some days including the weekend, but these vary with the season, so it would be better to phone 01931 714310 in advance. They have no website of their own.
