Stands in a remote position near to the confluence of the Rivers Eamont and Eden. It cannot usually be reached by car but can be accessed from a car park on the A66 just East of Brougham itself.
The 2017 4 monthly summer services at Ninekirks were held and attended by parishioners, visitors and dogs. With very few alterations since being built by Lady Anne CLIFFORD this simple, beautiful and peaceful church is a wonderful place for Evensong. Until the 1960s, this was the Parish Church for Brougham but it is now looked after by The CCT. It is well worth the effort of the lovely walk through fields, enjoying views of both The Pennines and The Lakeland hills, until the church is revealed in the field below nestled in the lazy bend of The River Eamont. Open all year it is worth a visit or come to the Easter Service when the daffodils are out.
